The Gowns
Couture and made-to-measure wedding gowns.
Couture is drawn from nothing, for one bride. Made-to-measure gowns from the Asheyori Eji collection begin with a finished design, cut to your measurements and adapted in sleeve, neckline, train and colour. Every gown here is made in Harlem, New York, and can be the starting point for yours.
Napa Valley
California Dreamin’. Photographed among the neoclassical terraces of Beaulieu Garden in Napa Valley, the collection traces two European crafts that found a second flourishing in California: French winemaking and haute couture. Like the estate’s heritage vines, these gowns carry a sculptural tradition from the old world and let it ripen under the American sun: a blush satin corset finished with a hand-formed rose, black flocked velvet cut for evening, champagne tulle made for dancing, and ivory satin draped with quiet precision.
The collection was realised in partnership with Munaluchi. Our deepest thanks to the whole coterie, whose creative kinship and steadfast support have shaped Kosibah’s American chapter.

Asheyori Eji
Emerging from the shadow of the global pause, Asheyori Eji translates the Yoruba idea of success into a sartorial renaissance. Moving from stark structure to celebratory detail, the collection fuses the atelier’s architectural discipline with a renewed sense of freedom: proof that the most profound heritage is one that looks resolutely toward the future.
Every design is finished and priced, then cut to your measurements with the same hourglass fit as the couture, and adaptable in sleeve, neckline, train and colour.

Turner
Inspired by the revelations of the Tate’s Late Turner exhibition, this collection reimagines couture through the eyes of a watercolourist. Each gown, christened after a Greek Muse, interprets Turner’s radical “colour beginnings”, utilising sheer fabrics and intricate embellishments to mimic the artist’s washes of light and pigment. The collection is a dialogue between classical inspiration and Romantic fluidity, transforming the models into living, breathing artworks set against a backdrop of opulent historicism.
Photographed in France, at the Château de Challain-la-Potherie and the Hôtel George V in Paris, and in Barbados.

Bienvenue 20
Created to mark the illustrious twentieth anniversary of the Kosibah brand, the collection serves as a masterclass in structural elegance and sartorial celebration. From the delicate luminosity of sheer lace sleeves to the intricate, light-catching heavy beadwork, each garment balances the weight of heritage with a contemporary grace, inviting the viewer into a legacy of timeless couture.
Photographed at the Hempel Hotel, London, in 2011.
