Melpomene
Melpomene takes her name from the Muse of tragedy, but there is nothing sorrowful here. An illusion tulle bodice is softly sculpted with lace appliqués and finished with delicate cap sleeves, then the skirt erupts into a ballgown of layered tulle, light and cloudlike, sweeping into a cathedral train.
It is the simplest gown in the collection, and perhaps the most romantic: made for a garden, a beach or a ballroom.
